The wider segments of this six-pointed star give room to work with coarser or somewhat larger textured glass. Some color can also look good, of course...

Here is the slightly larger version of the star in the fiery sun... This star of colorless structural glass is surrounded by three colored glass rings - of course especially beautiful in the winter background.

In this design, the rings are slightly widerand thus form an almost full background to the star. I recommend transparent colored glass for the three rings, preferably also somewhat structured - for example, table cathedral glass.

Here the really big version of the star in the fiery sun... Due to its size, this glass star is already a real window picture - but for the size with relatively little effort. A great piece of glass art for large windows.

Those who know me, know that I always love to use high quality handmade glass stones - like in this star here. For this somewhat slimmer design, I recommend a finely structured cathedral glass - similar to the picture for example.

This star is decorated with a faceted glass stone in the center. In this model, the individual facets and glass stones are first re-soldered ( use enough tin !! ) and then assembled only with small soldering points.

If you solder a hem around the facets and glass stones that is as even and somewhat thicker as possible, this design is also relatively stable. Some risk remains, however, especially during transport or when you take the star down and...
