Monochromatic opal colored glass is mostly seen used only in glass fusing - a pity really. This glass is also perfectly suitable for other forms of glass design. This certainly includes the copper foil technique / Stained Glass.
In the example I have used glass from the Bullseye glassworks. When selecting glass, please note that some colors are produced in such a way that they sometimes only develop their target color after being heated once to approx. 800°C. These glasses are known as "striker" glass. These glasses are called " striker " or tarnish colors. Upon request, your glass dealer will find the right glass for you.
