While the general glass processing and also the copper foil technique ( stained glass ) can be implemented for everyone and already with few tools, so we need in the glass fusing, also called fusing, an appropriate fusing furnace. In the fusing technique glass is heated up to 650°C to 900°C depending on the application. The heating and cooling of the glass is done according to a clearly defined firing curve in slow steps and stopping points.
